Senator Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., was speaking in support of Governor Romney an event in New Hampshire last Friday night. After the rally, I was able to visit with Senator Ayotte and thank her for participating in a panel that ONE co-hosted in partnership with the International Republican Institute (IRI) and the US Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) at the Republican National Convention. Senator Ayotte spoke positively about the lifesaving efforts started by President George W. Bush and the global relationships that are strengthened through American leadership. As a volunteer ONE member, I was thrilled to see one of my senators participating on an influential panel like this.
ONE members will continue to reach out to voters, candidates, elected officials and influential leaders from both parties during the 2012 election to build support in the fight against extreme poverty and preventable diseases.
