Washington Post: Opinion: An opportunity to end the AIDS pandemic – The puzzle is coming together in the fight against AIDS, said the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the NIH. “What stands out in my mind from (the IAC) is that interventions previously proved to work in controlled clinical trials are now … proving effective … in the real world, in poor and rich communities alike.” (Anthony Fauci)

New York Times: Fighting H.I.V. Stigma, Photo by Photo – For four years, two men encouraged HIV positive individuals to tell their stories, and they did it by giving cameras to 72 people living with the infection in six cities across the world – a project called “Through Positive Eyes.” One participant said, “There’s a healing process for me personally, as far as stigma within myself.” (Chris Gregory and Peter Moskowitz)
