ONE members around the country are hitting the presidential campaign trail, engaging and educating the candidates on the fight against extreme poverty for ONE Vote.
Recently, Governor Mitt Romney embarked on a bus tour across several states including Pennsylvania. Dedicated ONE members, led by Congressional District Leader Michelle Poorman, made sure to greet the Governor along the way to ask him that as he defines his foreign policy priorities, to support solutions that save millions of lives, create a safe and more stable world and uphold a proud American legacy, all for less than 1 percent of the federal budget.
As the election heats up over the summer and into the fall, we are asking all ONE members to attend any opportunity to engage the candidates and make their voices heard for the world’s most vulnerable people! Many elected officials and other prominent figures will also be attending these events. Such was the case with Pennsylvania Senator Pat Toomey and former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty.
