Social media has the power to do some amazing things — it can help amplify a message and get people fired up about an issue that they wouldn’t normally care about.
Our friends at Water.org have come up with a pretty nifty way to raise awareness around World Water Day, which takes place on March 22: They want you to donate your voice to water. It’s pretty easy.
Click on the graphic below to allow Water.org to use your Facebook and Twitter accounts to post a fact about water and sanitation a day from March 19 to 24. Sample messages include “More people on our planet have cell phones than a toilet” and “Millions scavenge for water, billions don’t have a toilet. We can help.”
Donating your voice shows your friends and followers on social media that you support solutions to the world water crisis AND are doing something about it, too. Feel like doing more? Go to Water.org to learn how you can help.
