Over the weekend, ONE Nashville members participated in the city’s annual AIDS Walk. We began the day by setting up a table at the community fair in order to recruit new ONE members and educate participants on the valuable advocacy work ONE does for HIV/AIDS around the world. By the end the fair, we were able to sign up more than 120 new ONE members!
We also got to catch up with ONE partner Blood:Water Mission and learn about the exciting work they are doing are doing to raise awareness for AIDS in Africa. Next, the ONE team joined more than 1,500 other Tennesseans on a three-mile walk to raise awareness for those living with HIV/AIDS. It was a great chance to get involved locally as we continue our work to eradicate preventable disease worldwide!
