Submit your ONE question to the CNN/YouTube Debates

CNN and YouTube are right now teaming up to offer the second in their series of groundbreaking presidential debates (the Democrats went in August) in which questions submitted through YouTube will be asked to the candidates. This special event presents the perfect opportunity to start off your YouTubing career for ONE Vote '08! All you need is your video camera or webcam.

Here is the step-by-step:

  1. If you have not already done so, create a YouTube account.

  2. Check out the tips from CNN/YouTube for filming the debate questions.

  3. Film yourself asking the candidates a question about one of ONE's issues.

  4. Upload the video file to your account here. Once uploaded, be patient. The video will take a while to process.

  5. Join the ONE Vote '08 YouTube group

  6. Once joined, add your video to the group.

  7. Now, go to the Republican Debate page to submit your video for the special debate, with the possibility of flying to St. Petersburg to watch the debate live.

Great! Don't forget to continue submitting your ONE Vote videos to our YouTube group even after the debates are over. Learn more about the group here.
