For months now, we’ve been asking our ONE members to give it all they have on our vaccine campaign. We asked our members to use every advocacy tool and skill they had to make sure that we won this important fight to save 4 million children in five years. Thanks to this hard work we generated more than 300,000 signatures on our petition.

ONE members sent hundreds of letters to members of parliament in the UK, and in the USA we swamped the Whitehouse with tweets. In South America our volunteers recruited thousands of new members who have added to the weight of our international voice. In Australia ONE members called and emailed the foreign minister’s office, and in Germany the outstanding youth messengers were hard at work gathering support.

Because of your skill at advocacy, your hard work and a ton of determination, it worked. We won!

On Monday in London, world leaders and private donors promised a remarkable $4.3 Billion over the next 5 years – this exceeded the $3.7billion that we hoped for. When Bill Gates announced he was contributing a billion dollars to the fund, he mentioned our campaigning work in his speech.

This really has been a historic week and our Executive Director Jamie Drummond made this video to thank you.

As a campaigner for ONE, I can’t tell you how proud I am of each and every one of you and you all should be very proud of yourselves.

It just goes to show that when we use our voices and work together, we can make amazing, lasting change in the world. So, give yourselves a well-deserved pat on the back and tell us how you feel in the comments below. Thanks to you, millions of kids around the world have a brighter future.

I would love to be more involved with ONE(participating in campaigns, conferences, workshops, events etc) if possible. I am from Nigeria and an undergraduate of Geology. I am about to start an NGO(Future Generations) aimed at helping children cultivate reading culture and learn a skill or two. So, I believe ONE.org will partner with us in the near future. Thank you ONE.org Team for all the efforts.

This is great news! Thanks so much, all of you who have been working hard on this, for making this happen. As a single, lone, taxpayer, I am glad to see our money going to such worthwhile efforts. When I think of these vaccines giving young people an extra chance at health, a little more protection, I realize that they will have that one more chance to grow up to become great people!

This means that one day-soon- ‘MOST’ children, regardless of what part of the world they live in- will have an equal chance of survival. Let’s celebrate this, then get back to work and ensure ‘ALL’ children get the same chance.

Thanks and congrats to all that helped. There is still work to be done!

It is all very well saving all these people, but the world is so over populated surely money should be also being put into birth control. These people may be saved as babies, but their lives will be very hard, and they in turn will produce poverty stricken children.Give people a better life, without producing more heartache .Stop people breeding.

I believe all children should be vaccinated from the main diseases (not the flu viruses because there is no such thing as a vaccine for the flu/cold). Diseases such as polio, chicken pox, measles, and mumps should be available to all children world-wide. May all animals and people be free from disease, and enjoy good, lasting health!

For the first time since I am in ONE organization I felt like I finally did something… Feeling I really needed. So hard to identify with people/institution I can´t “touch “, even if every day I work with suffering people; victims of violence, rapes, modern slavery. Few days ago I was in hospital with little girl from Africa and her mom. Doctors asked so many questions… Some were confusing, some impolite, some important. One of this questions was about vaccinations. She was lucky, had everything they needed. Safe. I am happy because of our success. Go on! It is a work to do. Just one thing: let´s put money or ask about money not only just to fix something, let´t put them to prevent and teach e.g. birth control etc.

Esqueçam tudo isto e lembrem-se acima de tudo sem Crianças não haverá amanhã e não Haverá Poder, Dinheiro ou onde e com quem Gastá-lo por isso e acima de tudo por todos os nossos Filhos.
