You may have noticed that this summer, the UK is holding a number of sporting events which are bringing together people from every nation around the world.
As part of our work on hunger and poverty, we’re seizing the opportunity to highlight the importance of nutrition in allowing everyone to fulfil their potential – the African child and the world class athlete.
With the world’s eyes on London, we’re asking members across the UK to come along to a series of fun events to help show public support for the Prime Minster tackling malnutrition – seeing millions of children jump the hurdle of malnutrition and have a fairer start in life.
We will be holding space hopper races, having a picnic and providing a nice opportunity for ONE members to get to know us and each other.
Our first event is taking place in Rectory Park, Sutton Coldfield on the 14th of July – find out more sign up for the event here.

The other events are taking place on:
Sunday 22nd July
Tatton: Pownall Park – find out more and sign up to come along
Saturday 28th July
Sheffield Hallam: Endcliffe Park – find out more and sign up to come along
Sunday 29th July
Doncaster: Campsall Park – find out more and sign up to come along
Saturday 4th August
Witney: King George’s Field -find out more and sign up to come along
You’ll be able to meet ONE staff and other local ONE members, and please do invite your friends/family along too!
We’ll be inviting local politicians to the events as well. If you have a space hopper stored away, please feel free to bring it!
