On February the 15th the world will see the first non-stop global Twitter Chat, lasting more 12 hours, spanning 3 continents and 12 different time zones.

The aim? To expose the world’s #hiddencrisis.

Organisations, experts, policy-makers, civil society groups and activists are coming together to draw attention to malnutrition and its underlying role in causing 2.6 million child deaths every year.

Rwandan Minister of Health @agnesbinagwaho , Dr Stanley Zlotkin @Stantheironman, inventor of ‘sprinkles’ micronutrient powders, and famous TV chefs such as @JayRayner1 from the UK, @marionskitchen from Australia and @ChefHaryo from Indonesia will be amongst those taking questions.  @unfoundation @AMillionMoms and @WHO will also be hosting together with Save the Children.

All this will take place within a constant, rolling 12 hour conversation starting from Australia at 0530GMT and ending up in Mexico.

With rising food prices and lack of global investment in tackling malnutrition we are putting future progress on child mortality at risk. Now it’s time to get talking about nutrition and put the solutions into action.
