Were you inspired by the Olympics? Have you finally beaten all your friends on our online game? Do you want to join Mo Farah and urge the Prime Minister to launch a race against hunger?

It’s time for you to hold your very own Race Against Hunger!

The Olympics and Paralympics are the perfect time to raise the important issue of nutrition – without nutritious food our athletes wouldn’t be getting gold, and children in poor countries don’t have the chance to fuilfil their potential either.

So why not hold a picnic in your local area and have space hopper races with your friends, family or colleagues to raise awareness of hunger and malnutrition.

Download our Toolkit for tips on how to “Win the Race Against Hunger”

A few tips to help organise your event:

  1. Ask friends, family or colleagues to join you for a picnic and space hopper races
  2. Create an event on Facebook
  3. Invite your local MP and tell your local newspaper
  4. Set up a space hopper race competition — try to break 100m record!
  5. Get as many people to sign up to ONE and join the races!

The current world record for 100m on a space hopper is 30.2 seconds… think you can beat it?

If you do organise an event, please let us know and we’ll give you a shout out on our twitter and facebook page.

Thank you for providing the tools and inspiration for this great initiative. We’re opening a new medical clinic. I’m excited to get the staff and community involved!
