ONE Street TweeterOne of the biggest creative challenges we face is finding ways to adequately express the spirit and strength of our amazing membership — And more than this, to maximize the impact of member voices to push for the positive changes we are all seeking to achieve. Combine this scenario with a message-saturated G8 Summit and you’ll understand why we’ve had to find something extraordinary to do next week… Ahem, cue Tweet the Street

We have been hard at work with some tech wizards to create the ONE Street Tweeter – a clever robot that can print short tweets, tweetetes if you will, (40 characters or less) on road surfaces. Yes – we want to take your messages on the road. Better still, if we print your message we’ll even send a pic of it back to you to share it with your friends.

So, what are you waiting for? You guys are more creative than any of those Mad Men types. Just tweet a message in your own words (no more than 40 characters including spaces) to encourage, rouse, and hustle the G8 to act now on hunger and poverty.

Tweet your message to @ONEStreetTweet or if you don’t do that sort of thing then you can type your message into the box below.

Name *

Let’s hit the road and get heard.

You are letting your brothers and sisters die. Only because you want money and destroy the world with your fabrics. Well, they deserve a better world, all of us deserve it. If you don’t help them the history will judge you, and will tell that you were powerfull but you did nothing. Shame on you!

Globalisation is bleeding the world dry. The future is bleak if decision makers continue to opt for war and greed.

Mankind, and the Earth as we know it, will only survive if people all around the world are informed about how crucial it is to adopt sustainable agriculture (no GMOs and agrochemicals) and voluntary birth control through proper education; as degradation of soils and water pollution is increasing at an alarming rate, and the natural resources of our planet have already reached the limit.
Consumerism is a serious issue too, the more we buy and dispose superfluous tech gadgets, clothes, cars, etc. and the more energy (oil, gas, electricity) and water we waste the closer we get to our own extinction. Too much pollution of rivers, oceans, soil and deforestation thanks to all the unnecessary goods we purchase and to all the waste we dispose.
Do we really need all this ‘synthetic joy’ to live on?

What we have done to our Creator’s world is shameful, especially for the leaders who can make a difference. Sustainable practices in agriculture and business are needed immediately as everyone who lives on this planet works together for the benefit of EACH OTHER. Our western sins are affecting children and families across the globe. Lets end poverty and hunger together!!
