Charlie Harris
Campus Outreach Ambassador for Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia
Charlie is a junior at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY and has been organizing around social justice issues since high school. As part of the original leadership team of the WKU chapter of ONE, he has organized against poverty and hunger, run voter registration drives and awareness campaigns during the ONE Vote '08 Initiative, lobbied on the Hill and in district for legislation to end extreme global poverty in all of its many facets, and helped win the first year of the ONE Campus Challenge (2007-8). But most of all, he just likes llamas and hopes to see a world where his global brothers and sisters have the same shot at opportunities we take for granted here in the US.

Jessica Beckner
Campus Outreach Ambassador for Indiana and Ohio
Hey guys! My name is Jessica Beckner and I'm the COA for Indiana and Ohio. I'm starting my fourth year at Indiana University in Bloomington, majoring in Anthropology and History. I have absolutely no clue where my career path is heading, but I know whatever I end up doing has to benefit the world somehow!
Aside from activism, I absolutely love music, photography, cooking, rock climbing, meeting new and interesting people, and of course traveling! I also have a fetish for really sweet sunglasses, so if you have any you'd like to donate feel free to send them along! I discovered ONE after I spent the summer in the UK back in 2005. Everywhere I went, I saw posters and banners for "Make Poverty History". When I got back to the States I discovered ONE was the U.S. branch of the Make Poverty History campaign. I really liked that ONE was not interested in getting your money, but rather in helping to show you how you can make a difference in the fight on global poverty while just sitting at your desk! I was hooked, and I've been with ONE ever since. I hope you guys find this year to be incredibly successful, and remember that we have the power to make this goal a reality - stay strong and keep fighting!

Kelly Wynveen

Hey! My name is Kelly Wynveen and I am the COA for all the great schools in Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine, and New Hampshire! I'm currently a junior at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts studying International Development and Social Change with a specialization in Religious and Cultural Development. In general, I'm usually over-excited about life, and being a COA is no exception. I have been part of ONE since high school and am passionate about all of ONE's goals. When I'm not doing things for OCC on my campus or helping out others in my region, I love to be by any body of water, play tennis, think about where I want to travel next, and go on night walks. As I said before, I'm unbelievably excited to be a COA for New England once again this year and can't wait to hear from everyone in my region!

Steven Thai
Campus Outreach Ambassador for Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota
My name is Steven Thai and I am the COA for Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. I attend Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and am majoring in Political Science with a minor in Communication Studies. After graduation, I plan to either attend grad school for Non-Profit Management or work for an organization like ONE.
I am originally from a northern suburb of the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul) in Minnesota. I am the son of a Vietnamese immigrant who has worked very hard to be in the position he is in today. He has taught me that change in this world is possible, and to stand up for those who do not have essential needs such as clean water or food to eat. My mother is from northern Minnesota and has taught me to accept everyone, no matter what walk of life they are from. I also have a younger brother who is currently a senior in high school. I enjoy political activism, reading, running, lifting, music, and watching movies. I also love spending times with friends and my significant other.
