Africa Trip Announcement — Coming Soon!

May 1st, 2009 at 4:40 pm

e-09-005_power-100_africa_tripIn mere days, we’ll have narrowed our top 20 individuals down to the 5 lucky students who have earned spots on our first-ever OCC trip to Africa.

We’ll be announcing these 5 superstar students on or before May 5. Our external judging panel — including Tom Freston, the Chairman of ONE’s Board of Directors; Ritu Sharma, Co-founder and President of WomenThrive Worldwide; Susan McCue, President, Message Global and ONE advisor on women’s advocacy; Edith Jibunoh of ONE’s Abuja, Nigeria office, and Maisie Pigeon (well, you guys know her) — is hard at work reviewing the trip applications.

The exact dates of the trip are TBD, but late July is the current estimate. We hope to have more details for you when we announce the Top 5 students.

Game On!
