OCC Final Phase Calendar

March 11th, 2009 at 8:54 am

Just a few important dates to remember. You’re students, you know what to do — write ‘em down!

March 11 – We will begin posting the current 40 individual action takers’ names here on the OCC blog, and hope to post the revised list at least every other day until the deadline so you can see how they’re doing.

March 22 – “Individual Actions” submissions deadline at midnight.

March 24 – Official top 20 individual action takers announced via OCC email and blog. Guidelines for these 20 students’ projects will also be announced, since only 5 will actually get to go on the Africa trip.

March 29 – Top 10 schools (not to be confused with top 20 individuals!) projects due at midnight.

March 31 – Top 10 schools’ projects open for public online voting. An OCC email will announce this, and our official ONE judging panel will review the projects simultaneous to online voting.

April 3 – Top 10 project voting closes.

April 7 – Grand prize-winning school announced via OCC email and blog.

April 19 – 20 individual action takers’ projects due at midnight.

April 30 – The 5 Africa trip winners announced via email and blog.

Also, the Vampire Weekend grand prize concert will be sometime in April, and the Africa trip tentatively looks like late May.

Game On!
