A lot of you are probably already pumped about our grand prize, but here’s a little more info on the fun and excitement awaiting the students from the school with the best Top 10 project.

First of all, the winning school gets a free, expenses-paid concert on campus with an awesome band. This year’s band is Vampire Weekend, the group Spin magazine declared “The Year’s Best New Band” (March 2008 issue) and Rolling Stone magazine says had the “10th best album of 2008” (January 2009 issue).

We used the Vampire Weekend song conveniently titled “Campus” in our Top 10 video, here. You can learn more about Vampire Weekend on their official website, www.vampireweekend.com.

How does the free concert work? Well, check out the 2008 concert at Western Kentucky University, here. This year’s event will be very similar. We supply the goodies, you bring your friends, and we all have a blast. We’ll schedule the concert date and time once we know the winning school.

We’re all excited to see which final project will be worthy of this amazing prize!
