Details: 10,000 points will go to the school submitting the most different actions from our list of point-getters! You can track your school’s completed actions by clicking here.

Deadline: Sunday, September 28th, 2008, midnight PST.

Here’s a helpful Scavenger Hunt Q&A:

Q. What if I just did an action last week?
A. If you’ve already done an action earlier this year, we’ve already checked it off the list for your school. We don’t want you starting a duplicate Facebook group, or trying to get your school declared “a Campus of ONE” two weeks in a row! However, you will not receive points again for the actions you took before this week, since you already got those points last week. You just get a checkmark towards winning the challenge.

Q. What if an action takes more than a week to complete or verify?
A. Try to avoid time-intensive actions you’re not going to be able to complete and verify by Sunday night. For example, if you write to your Member of Congress, s/he probably won’t get back to you in time. Stick to the actions that are easier to report on. We don’t expect anyone to check off EVERYTHING on the list!

Q. What if somebody else from my school does the same action as me?
A. It only gets checked off your school’s list once, so it only counts towards this challenge once. But you still get regular points for every action you submit, even if somebody else did the same one.

Q. I submitted an action, so why isn’t it checked off on my school’s list?
A. The OCC team has to approve each action before it gets checked off your list. Please be patient, we’re going to be working nearly round-the-clock to get all valid submissions approved as quickly as possible!

Good luck and GAME ON!
