Thank you!! I've felt for a long time that the OCC had gotten out of hand with people being more focused on winning than on coming together to support a cause. I think it happened a lot of places, and I definitely saw some of it on my own campus.

Thank you for your thoughts and ideas!

I'm gonna bring it up again to everyone later when we are more organized but hopefully Hofstra will be holding a big event for ONE next semester the days right before the last presidential debate, which is going to be at Hofstra. We really want ONE chapters from other schools to come to the event so that it's more of a collaboration!

We are at our best when we work together, so I think having an event like this where we are all working together instead of competing is the right attitude!

I agree. Everyone has done amazing things in this competition, but imagine how much more we could accomplish if, instead of competing against each other, we worked together.

Well said Mike! It's amazing what these 10 schools were able to pull off! When I was reading through them I was astounded at the creativity we all have. We have to remember that while we're competing, more so we are working together!

I love everything you've said here... I am from Hofstra, but I must say that I think everyone did an amazing job and came up with great ideas. Honestly, I was so amazed with all of the projects. Reading the stories and watching the videos, I was definitely even more inspired. We are all volunteers of ONE which stands for what I think we all agree is the greatest cause - to make poverty history. Along with this, what is most important is that throughout the Campus Challenge, I bet every single one of us from either the top 10 schools or one of the other 1200 schools nationwide had FUN making a DIFFERENCE. That in itself is a reward. ONE gave us each the incredible opportunity of raising awareness and getting things done while working towards a common goal. ONE has made great strides and we've each contributed to it. Congrats to everyone who made the top 10, and whoever wins - wins. Good luck to all.
