Maybe this will help:
Clues #3 and #6 are the same band – let’s call them Band A.
Clues #4 and #7 are the same band – let’s call them Band B.
Clue #5 is band C.

So that means:
• Clues #3 and #6 are the same band – let’s call them Band A.
o One band had the top 3 video on MTV last year.
o One band has toured with Dave Matthews Band, Blue October, and The Used in the past two years.
• Clues #4 and #7 are the same band – let’s call them Band B.
o One band recently appeared on mtvU’s Backstage Pass. Which means it’s one of the bands on this page.
o One band recently appeared on Conan O’Brien.
• Clue #5 is band C.
o One band was on the soundtrack for episodes of Gossip Girl and Entourage last year

I think one of them is Flo Rida, he was on Backstage Pass and was on the Entourage Soundtrack.
