2008 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland

The 2008 World Economic Forum was held in Davos from January 23-27 under the theme: “The Power of Collaborative Innovation.” Global and economic leaders from around the world including Bono, Bill Gates, Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, Queen Rania of Jordan, and chief executives of major companies talked about private-public sector collaboration to address global issues such as job creation/training in developing countries, corporate social responsibility and companies’ role in addressing the Millennium Development Goals. Check out the vids on youtube. My favorite panel was the one with Indra K. Nooyi , chairman and chief executive officer of PepsiCo.
