Do as Nike says

Anil Oztunali is a student at the SUNY Binghamton who is starting a ONE chapter on his campus. At first, Anil was really unsure of whether he would be able to attract his fellow students to engage in the issues of global poverty and disease. Would anyone show if he held a meeting or setup a table? Should he create a Facebook group first or wait until he plans a creative event? Basically would anyone else care enough about malaria, malnutrition or Mozambique to give up a few hours of their time?

The answer to the all of his questions and concerns is yes and now! Create a Facebook group right now; if people will join a ninja vs. pirate group I bet they would be down for fighting poverty. Have a small get-together with your friends tonight to share what ONE and the OCC are about. One step (ha) can snowball into your campus being overtaken with the spirit of the ONE Campaign.  Any events, photos, letters or whatever you want to do with ONE, just do it. People will care about agricultural subsides, Addis Ababa and AIDS if you give them the chance.

The OCC Blog is a daily log of the ONE Campus Challenge, a friendly competition to determine which university's student body has the most effective global poverty-fighting campaign. The site is operated by ONE staff, Campus Outreach Ambassadors (COAs), and Campus Leaders.

The content of each post represents the views of that post's author and does not necessarily reflect the views of ONE. ONE does not support or oppose any candidate for elected office, and any post expressing support or opposition for a candidate is not endorsed by ONE.
