"Development: Mission Critical" is a new effort by ONE to highlight how addressing the basic needs of those suffering from extreme poverty and preventable disease is not only right but, is a smart investment in our national security. "Development: Mission Critical" will build support with policymakers and the public to help make smart poverty and disease-fighting efforts a key part of America's foreign policy strategy. More than 50 combat veterans who have seen the importance of development firsthand by serving on humanitarian missions across the world will share this message with media, members of Congress and other ONE members. "Development: Mission Critical" will be a place for veterans and others to get involved in the fight against extreme poverty.
