Students have been at the foundation of every major social movement in U.S. history, and the fight against extreme poverty and global disease is no different.
As a college student, you have the unique opportunity to strengthen our movement on your college or university campus when you join ONE Campus. Formerly called the ONE Campus Challenge (OCC), ONE's Campus program launched in September 2007 as a friendly, intercollegiate competition designed to mobilize students around global issues. More recently, our student outreach has evolved into more than just a contest; ONE Campus is a critical pillar of ONE's advocacy efforts.
This year's ONE Campus launched in September 2010, with a live video-conference and call to action with Barbara Bush. If you're interested in joining us, go to http://www.one.org/campus/ and become a campus leader or join an existing chapter. At this very moment, there are students on your college campus hungry to make a big difference for the world’s poorest people.
