What would make the biggest
difference to your world?
The United Nations and World Leaders are now developing a new plan to end extreme poverty, one that is based on the aspirations of all citizens.
From now until 2015, we can help define the next set of global goals by voting for the changes that we would like to see in the world.
What would make the most difference to you and your family’s life? You choose.
In 2000, leaders from 189 nations signed on to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), a set of 8 poverty-busting goals designed to significantly reduce global poverty and disease by 2015.
Thanks to millions of people taking action and a massive global effort, we have already made real progress. But despite these successes, much more needs to be done.
That’s why ONE has joined forces with the UN to find out what matters to citizens across Africa. We want to capture the voices, priorities and views of Africans, which will be shared with world leaders as they begin to create the new plan to end poverty.
One person’s voice may go unheard, but if we stand together, political leaders can’t ignore us.
