Talking “Smart Power” with Newt Gingrich

This morning I attended an event in Manchester, New Hampshire featuring former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. I chatted with him briefly, thanking him for his support of ONE. I also mentioned his recent trip to Iowa and his conversation with Ambassador Chuck Larson about “smart power”. He recalled the conversation and said he had a great time in Iowa.

It was great to touch base with Mr. Gingrich and continue the conversation about the US’s role in combating extreme poverty!
