Albright was sanguine about killing a million Iraqis, and Rice conspired to kill even more.  And don&#039;t tell me about Afghanistan, they - the &quot;good guys&quot; - just passed a law that a man can starve his wife if she won&#039;t sleep with him.  You&#039;ve come a long way, baby.</description>

		<description>I just wanted to express thanks for posting this article here.  I&#039;m a long time reader of the ONE blog but I haven&#039;t left many comments. I had to post one today to tell you how much I enjoyed this piece.  I love this quote:

&quot;A society that is not decent to women is not a decent society, and an indecent society is a dangerous one&quot;

So true.  I&#039;ve often expressed the opinion that the key to a successful community is to uplift the women.
