Recently, PA ONE Members held a “Call Party” to engage our Senators. A number of important pieces of legislation are currently being considered and PA ONE Members made sure their voices and concerns were heard! The calls were in reference to cosponsoring the following:
.
PA ONE Members also asked their Senators to ensure the world’s poorest people are able to confront the new challenges of climate change. You can urge your Senator to do the same by clicking here.
“Call Parties” are a good way for ONE Members to get together and let their elected officials know that their constituents care about these issues. Way to go PA ONE Members!

that’s is really really great. i love seeing this.
we do that at our Snohomish WA RESULTS meetings every couple of months when there is a particular legislative ask, calling the Capitol switchboard after hours and leaving messages on Senator Murray’s and Cong. Larsen’s answering machines. (Senator Cantwell’s voice mail has been out of order for a few months, we call her local office). quite effective, and especially the little old ladies leave feeling like they’ve done something of great value and every empowering.
awesome work PA ONE. hope you will continue to do this! and that others join in too. just be sure someone checks thomas.gov beforehand to make sure they haven’t cosigned onto the legislation before you call, so you know whether to ask or thank them!
staying close,
