A lot, actually. Malnutrition is a problem that affects billions of people all over the world. The Living Proof Project shines a spotlight on the issue by highlighting some of the great advances in food fortification.

Food fortification adds essential vitamins and minerals to foods, as an important strategy to fight malnutrition. And programs like the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) are making tremendous progress on this front.

Living Proof designed this great infographic explaining how food fortification is saving lives (click the image below to check it out):

Such wonderful work. I wonder, however, where the wealthy athletes are,and wealthy CEO’s of big corporations? Don’t they have a concience or compassion for others. I wonder! I have been emailing everyone on my email list all day for health care reform in the US. I don’t believe the common person can afford to give at this time. But many can and unfortunately they are too egotistical and selfish to contribute to this great cause that benefits all of humanity. Keep up this work. Are there volunteer positions available in this wonderful organization?
