We're also looking forward to live reporting from the conference.

So far Twitter has been a good source of news and referrals - for example, this morning @WaterWired sent out a good reference, Peter Gleik of Pacific Institute reporting for the SF Chronicle: http://tinyurl.com/n4zchp.

And the World Water Week website is providing PDFs of the daily bulletin, which covers the daily news from panels, speakers, etc.

As a short introduction to water issues - we (explore.org) today released a short compilation video that brushes upon topics such as the shortage in India, the Three Gorges Dam project in China, and melting icebergs in the Arctic.

It's on several video-sharing sites, but here's the link to the YouTube version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5H0wCs3k4g
