Desmond Tutu receives Presidential Medal of Freedom

Today, 16 people received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor. Among them was South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu—ONE’s International Patron.

    Congratulations, Rev. Tutu, on this well-deserved award. Your life’s work definitely merits this Presidential Medal of Freedom. Thank You for being a voice of conscience for human rights and for the end of extreme poverty.

    Oh I think everybody deserves the award. They had contributed so many things for their society and countrymen as well as to the entire world. They have touched other people’s life and devoted such example and role models for everyone.
