Thanks Grace for this compilation of some VERY IMPORTANT articles for any of us who are concerned about the spread of HIV/AIDS & extreme poverty in Africa.

The article on Doha is (of course) important to all of us who want to see fairer trade with Africa to be a bigger part of the Continent's options for development: the article on the MDG's should be worrying to all of us in the whiteband movement because it signifies that the MDG's are way behind schedule and thus more people will suffer

but the article on funding levels for HIV/AIDS programs should be a REAL red flag for all of us because turning people away from HIV/AIDS clinics for lack of funds is NOT why we started this movement.

I have been getting these updates from Uganda for awhile and they have truly bothered me. I hope that they really bother some more of us into increased ACTION on behalf of the world's poorest people.
