I wish for all a healthy earth - fresh water, clean and unpolluted food, clean air, and a roof over our heads - safe from war and agression - free to practice our own religion and to embrace our own philosphies. In our evolution as human beings, and with all our technology, I believe we can do this. But will we? One person, one step at a time.

Blessings...

It just ain't fair this thing called thirst
We're one step there, and the other does nothing
I would have done anything for a drink
I'm still thirsty, I'm thirsty
Tears from the Angels pour down like rain
But the Angels have forgotten to cry for them
Be an Angel, Cry for them yourself, no drought here

This is completely solvable and cureable... Let's do something about it instead of just being sad about it for 15 minutes, and then resuming our lives as if everything is okay.... We get sad about something, perhaps give $20 to a fund thinking we are helping (and it is appreciated, I'm sure) and then we get into our SUV's and start playing a movie on our in-car DVD Player for our kids, and we go to Starbuck's and spend $30 or more for coffee and treats for the kiddos... I feel completely guilty about this. We American's take water for granted.. Start screaming this message from our roof-tops, and send letters to our Sentators... Get the physical mailing address for your Senators, and send a physical letter to them. Senators and Congress do not have to answer email letters, but are required to send you a return letter by mail stating their position regarding this subject.. So get to writing!!!

I've been drinkin' 151. I am not myself, which i think is very good. I admire and believe all that you guys are doing, but being a nobutt I feel i can't do much. I want to sign this, but didn't see whare I could. Also, I'll give a little, but don't have much left till the end of the month. Keep it up. I'm an atheist who believes in angels.

We need not take water for granted. Alot of people don't have any clean water and i think that is awful. I really can't imagine walking miles for water and i never want to have to.

This is a wonderful thing. I am worried that we are forgetting our own "third world", the Indian reservations. Did you know the majority of reservations don't have potable(?) water? Do you know how much the Government is helping? Zilch! Oh, there is some help but usually the wrong kind, like giving them the wrong kind of food to eat causing all sorts of diseases (read diabetis(?)).
I do agree that countries where there is no clean water close to villages or sections of cities need our help but, please, think about our reservations and the people who live there.
While I'm at it, how about doing away with all the back yard swimming pools and other wasteful habits. Our aquifers aren't infinite you know.
