Yesterday I met with Sensei Tony Stultz and Osho T.J. Schaffer of the Blue Mountain Lotus Society of the Buddhist community. Sensei Stultz participated as a panelist in the ONE Sabbath Forum held at Lebanon Valley College back in February.

During our meeting we discussed ways that BMLS Members can engage in advocacy on behalf of ONE’s issues and the critical need RIGHT NOW for action. Sensei Stultz was very eager to immediately begin advocating for the world’s most vulnerable! A ONE Action e-mail went out to over 800 PA BMLS Members urging them to contact PA Senator Arlen Specter to speak with his colleagues on the Appropriations Committee to allocate 51.7 billion for the State, Foreign Operations bill. Sensei Stultz assured me that BMLS Members would respond and contact Senator Specter’s offices throughout Pennsylvania! Furthermore, I was informed that there are already many PA BMLS Members interested in ONE and the fight against global poverty and disease. A future upcoming ONE training is being discussed and I was inspired to witness Sensei Tony Stultz’s swift action to BMLS Members on behalf of the world’s poor!
