You probably know that Archbishop Timothy Dolan--who will be our next Archbishop in New York--has an article in the Commonweal Review entitled Blueprint for Peace--Pope Benedict's Call to Fight Poverty. He invokes the Catholics Confront Global Poverty campaign above and summarizes some of Pope Benedict's most recent writing on global poverty. He ends on an inspiring note stressing that now in times of economic distress, Catholics must urge our government leaders to keep this issue first and foremost.
