Meeting with Congressman Nye
ONE Volunteer Derek Rivas and I met up at a coffee shop in Virginia Beach for Congress at Your Corner with Representative Nye from the 2nd district! We congratulated the congressman on his election and introduced ONE to him on behalf of the 5,000 members in his district. He was already familiar with ONE and said that if we could gather enough ONE members, he would speak at our next meeting in the district!
We were able to deliver information about ONE and a meeting request directly to the congressman in person! He put on his white band and encouraged us to “keep up the good work!”
