ONE Volunteer Adam Stackhouse attended the Clinton Global Initiative University meeting this weekend at the University of Texas at Austin. CGI U brings together students, university presidents, nongovernmental organizations, and national youth organizations to make commitments to action against global poverty and injustice.
He wore his ONE shirt and even struck up a conversation with Paul Begala who told Adam that he was a big fan of ONE! He put on his white band and posed for a picture to show his ONE (and Longhorn) pride!

Great meeting with Begala at the CGI event, Adam. Good to know that Begala is a “fan” of ONE.
Now can we put that enthusiasm for ONE into good use by getting Paul Begala to support on air the
idea of asking President Obama to include $1 billion in the defense emergency supplemental bill coming up for a vote this Spring in Congress to help fill the Global Fund’s $1 Billion funding gap from the U.S. federal budget?
That would be a GREAT use of Paul Begala’s admiration for ONE.

i am a deaf in haiti,my surname is mayes.
The entire world has seen what happens when a handful of greedy people hijack entire nations. What has happened in Zimbabwe is reflected everywhere in varying degrees. But now people all over the globe are aware of the interconnectedness of every part of humanity, and we must never rest until all are free, and all have the rights and privileges accorded as a part of human existence.
The Zimbabwean unity government must be supported by all who believe in justice, first and foremost by the African Union
