An award for your ideas? What ideas have you had except using celebrities to get soft-headed Americans to sign up to support issues directly against their self-interest? There goes my respect for CGD. Lame, lame, lame - hope they give the award to a group who actually does real work next time.

I must agree with Rochelle that this award to ONE is well-deserved and shows the depth of commitment from our two and a half million membership & active volunteers to our determined leadership for ONE in DC and internationally.

We have not become the VERY EFFECTIVE organization for the world's poorest people because we have nice-sounding ideas but because we are willing and able to put our commitment to ending AIDS & extreme poverty in our world into ACTION.

Let's continue to advocate even MORE effectively for our goals in 2009. I look forward to working with all of my fellow ONE members on bigger victories in the future!

Congratulations ONE Campaign / OV08! What a very excellent honor from the CGD! The campaign's success at creating issue visibility between American voters and leaders ultimately means that many lives that have been (and will be) saved. I think that this campaign will fast become the role model in the way Americans and "Causes" reach out towards our candidates and policy makers.
