Add to this dilemma the crisis unfolding with regard to fresh water and we have the potential for starvation to become even more common than it is today. Cars can run on petrol, they can be made to run on ethanol as well. Last time I checked, humans couldn't run on petrolium products. Where is the wisdom in this? Ethanol. Folks, this is just a no-no.
