From Vision to Action

Last week, ONE released its transition briefing to President-elect Obama’s transition team. Our transition briefing builds on the already robust agenda laid out by the President-elect with a series of short- and long-term policy pitches to the transition team along with a detailed sketch of how the Obama Administration can meet its commitment to double foreign assistance.

A transition briefing like this is meant to provide our thoughts on new priorities that could be taken up early on in the Administration and that also fit well with President-elect Obama’s vision. It is not meant to be a comprehensive list of all the things that ONE will support during the next four years whether they be existing priorities or new ideas that may emerge.

President-elect Obama’s campaign commitment to double foreign assistance provides us a framework for our requests and while it may sound ambitious, it is a critical necessity to the overarching goals. We are not naïve to the financial realities our country is facing, but for far too long development has played a supportive role in our overall foreign policy. It is our hope that President Obama will act on the vision he described as a candidate and raise the profile of development. We believe this briefing provides a roadmap to do that.

We hope that you find this briefing helpful and look forward to working with President Obama, his Administration, Congress, and all of our members to make this vision a reality.

Thanks Erin for updating us on this. I was wondering when this ONE transition paper would come out for the upcoming Obama administration.

ONE has always been at the forefront of clear thinking and WORKABLE solutions for the world’s poorest people and this transition paper is no different.

Wishing you all the best, Erin. (smile)

The amount of monetary increase suggested is staggering. Where will that money come from in America? The United States government is busy bailing out institutions and industries and will be busy bailing out states or supplimenting their income with federal dollars in the near future. I want to be wrong about this, but I’m probably not. May the day come when you all here can look back and think I was/am nuts. Our economy isn’t in trouble. It’s in grave danger of tearing itself apart at the seams.

As a nation, we’re continuing to be fiscally irresponsible. We spend more money and continue to spend more money than previously, all at an exponentially alarming rate. One.org doesn’t seem to care though. They’d make dust of the money available, demand the government tax it’s citizens more for their(One.org’s ideals) benefit, then continue to grind that monetary dust into lightweight powder. All to be floated out of the U.S.A.

Wake up One.org and members! Does not your continued voice for money during these dangerous econimic times belie the interests of the nation(s) that you desire money from? How foolish.

The plan will also provide free health care globally as well as provide adequate financial backing for Medical Research Worldwide, and will bring an end to poverty and starvation.

    GENTLEMEN, LADIES,

Here is a copy of a correspondence that I sent to the Whitehouse last Friday. I was hoping it would get their attention during the G20 meeting concerning the GLOBAL ECONOMY CRISIS. Later I found out it could be weeks before they actually sift through all of their emails. The planet cannot wait weeks to hear this message of hope. In weeks, the greater part of the infrastructure could collapse and that would lessen our ability to turn things around in a timely manner. We need to get the ball rolling so we can save as many jobs, corporations and homeowners as possible and stop the decay of the World Financial scene. This message of HOPE needs to be broadcast to every corner of the Planet.
Please search your hearts, and find the conviction of truth in what I have to say, and then forward the message in a direction that will help us help HUMANITY.
Love and Blessings to you, Roger

Hello to the Ambassadors & Staff of the White house!

My name is Roger French, and I have a question; Why do folks continue to take life as it comes, rather than, making your world become as you dream it can be?
I am the dreamweaver, and I can make your world economy problems go away with a snap of my fingers, and put you on your way to an “UTOPIAN FUTURE” of Peace and Prosperity.
I can make this whole “NIGHTMARE” come to an end with you clearly on your journey into the future, and on into the Galactic Community of which you are a part.
All I ask is to let me put forth my case to you all, as a global community, which you truly are, so that you can decide with knowledge of what I propose, whether to allow me to help “HUMANITY” in it’s time of need.
As long as the existing infrastructure remains, I can help you all. But if you should tarry in your actions, I can safely say that the the system as it stands now will surely collapse. At that point your technology and global communications may slowly decay away. If this happens, your shot at the Galaxy is more likely to disappear as well.
I hold the key to your ultimate salvation, both “GLOBALLY” and “PERSONALLY”, but whether you reach for it or not is determined by your “FREEWILL!” The “KEY” is “UNCONDITIONAL LOVE”, and you all can achieve that state of “TRANQUILITY”, with a little truth and compassion given to you all.
It is the responsibility of each of you that receives this that this opportunity is HERE AND NOW, and the message spread to those who can make a difference, and want to. There are exceptions to the following statement, and they know whom I speak of,The majority of humanity is drowning in a “SEA OF NEGATIVE THINKING”, which has got you to this point in time.
Fear rules the day, and none of you seems too happy about the uncertainty of the near future. I can show you how to turn this around and build a great future for yourselves if you can achieve a “GLOBAL UNITY”, and I can show you the pathway to a GLOBAL CONSCIOUSNESS.
Love and Blessings to You ALL, Roger of Providence!

Remember, you are Galactic Citizens of Nebadon and the three
Galactic Laws are; Unconditional Love, Freewill, and the Law
    of Karma!
Love & God Bless you & yours, Dreamweaver

Uh….I’ve read about that stuff before. My personal opinion would be to NOT drink the Kool-aide. Just put it down and back away.

I’m glad to hear that it starts with you. I wish you the best in your future stuffs and things and such.

    Thanks!
But it doesn’t really start with me, I’m just a link in the chain. But I can and I am willing to help those in power to turn things around by showing them what they apparently can’t see or imagine.

    Hello Steve B.,

I don’t blame you for your skepticism, especially in today’s world. But your only course to prove whether your right, or, perhaps wrong, is to help me get an appointment to be heard by someone or a group of folks with political influence and integrity.
Then you will see that what I said is more than a boast, or a wishful thought conjured up by delusional thinking. In the meantime you might try and wrap your mind around the Urantia Book which can be found at truth book.com for a free read. Enjoy!

    Love and Blessings, Roger

Roger, you should definitely stick around. Your fun and didn’t take the “don’t drink the kool-aid” thing as an insult. It would seem that very few here have skin that is thick enough for that.

I might point out however that my only course to find out if I’m either right or wrong or some of both isn’t getting you seen by the political “in crowd”. Future history will bear out if I am either/or. I can simply stand by and watch.

If you want political influence, One.org is a good group of people to go with. While I feel they are misguided in their efforts, I do know that they have genuine concerns and that those concerns are good ones to have. I think you should join up and let your voice be heard!

I’m gonna have to pass on the Urantia Book thing. While you might believe in it whole heartedly, it just has that cult-like “scream” about it. I do however, wish you the best with it. Good luck and take care. Peace be with you.

    Steve B.! Hello!

Well! For starters, I guess if you could say that being a child of God, and that being a citizen of the Galaxy in which we live is being a “Cult Member”, then I consider myself guilty as charged.
Like you, I am a child of God. But unlike most of us kids, I know the Universal Father of the vast & starry creations well enough to know that he has a well developed sense of humor and an unending capability of compassion towards his unaware, misguided and wayward children of time and space.
If you would like to stay in touch, and perhaps question my thoughts or statements, you have my e-mail address. I have a real fondness for intelligent and enlightened people. They tend to be found very reasonable.
    Love and Blessings brother, Roger

Yes, the world is in economic crisis…And yes, the US could take some of the billion a month spent on Iraq and put it to good use at home and elsewhere. We must act now and always for a better, conscious planet…Love and Peace-Lance

Lance, I’d like to ask you a couple of questions:

    1) If we were to take some of the money that we spend monthly in Iraq and “put it to good use at home and elsewhere.”, from whom would you take it? You may not know it, but that money keeps our troops safer. It builds infastructure. It provides water and food.

    2) When you say “we must act now and always for a better, conscious planet”, what are you really saying? Who decides what a better, >conscious

Hello Steve, and hello to you Lance,

If we could exchange our antiquated planetary barter system for a more “Utopian” Galactic system of exchange, then the financial resources would be there in sufficient abundance to provide equitably for each individual on the planet as well as provide free housing, nutrition, and health care for those same individuals. And at the same time be able to cover the expenses of; Disaster Relief, Medical Research, Energy Research and Development, Aero-space Engineering and Implementation and Stellar Exploration. In addition, it would pay the costs of a free first class education to everyone on this sphere and provide the income and prestige due to first-rate Teachers and Professors.

Education and financial freedom is the root of cooperation and understanding on a Global Level. When cultural and ethnic diversity is viewed without invoking a sense of fear and uncertainty it becomes a tapestry of beauty and wonder. I admit, we have a long way to go, in smoothing out the bumps in the road of destiny, but we can achieve it with Love, Compassion, Humanity, and Education. And move on to becoming Citizens of the Galaxy by creating a Global Village attitude about who we are.

    Love and Peace, Roger

As far a “just being a chain in the link, that’s kind of thinking that got me into this CRAP situation. It’s me and only me, I wasted in the past, and in theory I think I got myself in this mess…with zero leaverage for relief…

    Hello Ginia,
So sorry to hear that your world is collapsing as we communicate.
I’ve many friends that are in the same situation as you and I tell them the same thing as I am going to say to you.
There is a Global Solution at hand, but before it can be implemented or used, it has to come to the attention of the stuffed-shirted politicians running things or running in “Panic Mode” while the worlds’ economy goes to hell.
Unfortunately, this has to be implemented before the Global Communication Sytstem goes down or it can’t happen at all. Please notify your government leaders, Local, State and National, that there is someone with a plan to take away these problems forever. Get your friends involved. I’ve been trying for three months to get one politician to even talk to me. They are deaf and dumb, or just brain numb.
My e-mail is; dreamweaver_006@yahoo.com use it, spread the word that there is an alternative to just sitting around and watching the planet go into financial ruin needlessly. I have tried contacting the Media, the Politicians, and single-handedly doing so hasn’t worked. But maybe enough noise from enough different sources might get their attention.
Best wishes and best of luck to you and yours, Love and Peace be upon you, Roger,”the Dreamweaver”

Don’t know what your problems are…so I can’t offer any advice. If you’ll post up your problem, I might be able to give you an avenue to fix it. I promise not to promote a supergalactic interplanetary system of love and money that requires you to call your congressman for someone else. (Best of all love there Roger).

You are correct in this Ginia, that you need to fix yourself first before you can help others.

I’ve lost employment basically lost job, dignity.I’ve worn out the welcome here at my parents and my online company has bombed even before the economy. I found myself in legal problems because I couldn’t pay for my bills and my health is deterorating(because I was attacked only four years ago). AndI’ve also experienced identity theft.
