It’s wonderful to know that the new team of Barack Obama is concerned with international development - a key component of global security and rising living standards worldwide. But I’m wondering - will ordinary Americans rise to support the team on this issue? Our mainstream media has drastically cut back its international news coverage and most media that we hear, read or see doesn’t discuss much global news at all. Indepth, insightful news as we know it may be in jeopardy - or is it already too late?
