Having worked with a women's co-operative in Ghana, i have seen firsthand the positive effects of investing in women. To take care and invest in of women increases the well-being of all the family (especially children) as they are the primary care-givers. I worked with a Fair Trade cooperative and also saw the significance of women being able to earn an livable income and the self esteem and confidance it brings them .
