New Video: “Celebrate, Accelerate”

At September’s special United Nation’s Summit, we had a chance to show a short video to a group of world leaders at the Secretary General’s reception. The film – “Celebrate, Accelerate” – marks the progress on the Millennium Development Goals to date and encourages further, faster commitments going forward.

Hope you enjoy it!

First of all, it’s GREAT to welcome Weldon back to the ONE Blog! The place just ain’t the same without you. (smile)

Second, I would really like to thank ONE and whoever is responsible for this video because it is the MOST EFFECTIVE video that I have seen our movement put out since the famous “click” ads of a few years ago.

I think that the info presented in this video and the way that the info is presented in this video is exactly what we need to say and share with others so that we do not lose momentum in trying to fulfill the Millenium Development Goals.

I love this video so much that I have posted it in my MySpace and shar(ed) it with a lot of friends.

Thanks ONE – and welcome back, Weldon. We are always ONE family.

    LIVING POSITIVELY, debbie :)

I agree with Debbie. This is the best video I’ve seen from ONE, including TV ads. In addition to everything she mentioned, I would add that I love the music.

And I also shared it with my friends, on Facebook. :)

This video made me think about how precious life is and what can happen between now and 2015 in my own life.
My parents are in their mid eighties now, I have hiv, my brother has multiple sclerosis and is in his prime I think at the young age of at fifty-eight I’m younger and because of medicines I’m in perfect health really. Meantime in supporting ONE I can make a positive difference, something to be happy about in the meanwhile. Life isn’t forever in 2008 on earth but well lived, as the sanskrit says, is a vision of hope.
I buy the braclets and give them away to people everywhere, I tell them about one and urge them to think about their actions. :)

This video is so important that we must make every effort to spead it as far as we can.

    Peace
