Screw the other “poor countries” of the world; what about taking care of things here at home in America? How about getting Healthcare under control here first?… How about stemming poverty in the United States first?… Who’s going to come to the aid of America once our society “implodes”; which it’s on the very edge of ecomomically, politically, resource-wise, healthcare-wise, employment-wise, illegal-immigration/iinvasion-wise, militarily, and so on. Let’s get America in propper shape first before helping strangers of the world. C’mon.

I am inspired by One’s aspirations and their continued work towards getting the people’s voice to the politicians and our government to create a seriously needed positive change in the world. We have the ability and the resources to end poverty and make all humanity equal, ending problems with health, disease and illiteracy. Keep up the good work, and people will follow and support you!! Thanks for the inspiration and hard work! God bless with success!

In 2008, isn’t the time right for the United States of America to re-focus attentions and resources to aid and assist the needs of our Domestic poor, and finally begin to give less to those in foreign lands?

Surely we need to help America’s poor, but there is just simply no poverty level comparison between what the world’s poor who earn less than $1. a day to the poor in America.

Everyone has something to offer. Time, money, resources. Even a simple smile: to a neighbor you have never reached out to; to the teenager who bags your groceries; even to the jerk in the car who just cut you off. That, my friend, is a free gift anyone can afford to give. Quit complaining about what you don’t have or don’t get here in the United States and give WHAT YOU CAN to someone who has LESS than you. After all, one’s attitude and heart is what makes one rich.

    Dear Concerned American,

Screw the other “poor countries”? WOW! Well then it looks as if the other “poor countries” have been and will be screwed for some time. In 2004, the poverty threshold for this “poor country” was $28,216. That means about 35 million people in the US live in poverty. How dreadful. These 35 million people make more money than the other “poor” will make in their entire life. Just in Africa, 250 million people survive on no more than $2 a day. Now I don’t know about you, but this seems to be much more of a concern and problem than the Americans struggling because they can’t live without their car, Ipod, and double cheeseburgers. Go complain elsewhere if you think it so necessary to bash those trying to make a difference in the world.
