First of all, I said NOTHING in this thread about voting for anyone for President - you have brought that subject up and we all have been asked by ONE to refrain from partisan comments.

I ask you to do the same as the rest of us.

This is also NOT a forum in which to spew your personal philososphy regarding extraneous issues (like the one that you are alluding to above) when the BIGGEST killer of children in our world is AIDS & EXTREME POVERTY!

I hope that the mods in the ONE Blog will sufficiently remind you of our posting guidelines regarding partisan politics in this thread.

On The question of obama. You can look good fighting poverty saying thst you are doing God's work, however don't tell me that you are votin g for a man who has no regard for a baby in the womb and say your a Christian. Everything in God's word says that to take a life in the womb is murder. Research His stance on abortion and the laws that he signed into effect. if McCain chose a pro-choice candidate I would not have voted this election. if you choose to argue my point, than i think you need to rethink whether you are a born again,Bible believing Christian. ou will have to answer for your vote to kill more babies when you face the judgement. i am sorry that I am coming on so strong but come-on, think about what you are doing. PLEASE

I didn't see this interview with Sen. Obama so I really appreciate this little piece of the interview. I really liked this part by Sen. Obama:

" We tend to focus on the negative. And when you go there (Africa), first of all what you realize is the people there are more energetic and optimistic than you would ever imagine. In fact there’s been some surveys done showing that Africans are surprisingly happy and positive about the future, and there are a lot of good things going on."

Thanks to Sen. Obama for speaking the truth about the resilience and the spirit of Africa's people !
They have much more to give us than we could ever give them.

ALWAYS FOREVER, ONE - debbie :)
