Dear ONE Member,

John McCain, Barack Obama and every member of Congress heard you loud and clear about global poverty and disease.

Over 50,000 ONE members, along with Senators Tom Daschle and Bill Frist, helped successfully secure strong provisions against global poverty in the Republican and Democratic party platforms. That’s a huge victory.

You followed that success by welcoming new Vice Presidential nominees Joe Biden and Sarah Palin with a powerful reminder that global poverty is a priority for millions of Americans.

Now we need you to strengthen your voice with your vote. ONE is working with Rock the Vote to register record numbers of voters. If you aren’t already registered, register now: http://www.one.org/rockthevote

If you are amongst the impressive 80% of ONE members already registered, please forward this email to your friends, family and colleagues—anyone who shares our struggle against global poverty—to make sure they’re registered and voting as well. And remember that if you have moved recently, even just down the street, you must re-register.

For more information on how you can register and get others involved, go to: http://www.one.org/rockthevote
When politicians know we vote consistently and in large numbers, they are far more likely to listen and far more likely to take action on our issues. You can help drive our message home by registering now and voting in November. The deadline in your state is just weeks away, so make sure you’re registered soon. And if you can, encourage others to register as well.

We need you to step up your involvement in this election. Help us Rock the Vote: http://www.one.org/rockthevote

Thank you for your voice,

Josh Peck, ONE.org
