An Event.

Tonight at the DNCC the RIAA is hosting an event to celebrate ONE.

Kanye West will be playing and we’re expecting some very famous and influential people to attend.

ONE has been seeing a lot of national press because of the party and we’re hoping the event will help bring the issue of global poverty to the forefront of this convention.

Sounds like quite an exciting time.

I’m planning a dinner in L.A.’s Little Ethiopia this weekend, but now it seems to pale in comparison. ;)

I realize it’s OT, but for those who love African cuisine, here’s a fun little website I stumbled across tonight:

I would think that since all the bigmouth hullabalu is supposedly about helping the poor etc. that they should have more of an idea who they are really backing and some real facts to back them up with instead of some ones talking points for political or self personal gratification. I can back the following statement up with facts: If not for “mostly” Christian believers and Democracy formed countries doing the majority of major projects to help the poor, etc. it just wouldn’t be happening. All one needs to do for openers is to go to the World Food Program site and once there check under governments and it lists what each country has donated for 2008 and other years and one can also check and see how and who formed it. Then what one needs to do is “think a little” and ask themselves why it is that the Democrat Party supports Dictatorship countries over the USA and our allies when “NONE” of those Dictaorship countries gives “ONE CENT” to the WFP and that the so called illegal war{which is a lie and one can verify that from the 17 UN resolutions-the options included- and also by listening to many Democrats themselves saying that Saddam Huessin was a threat and needed to be removed long before President Bush decided to go after him} and that the “NEW DEMOCRAY of IRAQ” has given $40 million to the WTP, which surely is more than the “ZILTCH” given by the dictators of Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, etc. and the radical muslim terrorists and those behind them. All you wonderful and terrific people who are really out there to help the poor are being “mislead” by those who are in some influential positions and even some of them are being mislead by others behind the scenes. So bottom line is that people need to wake up and support a party that is all for Democray, Freedom and helping the poor without the “the rantings and rage” of those who hate Democracies, Chrisitians and any others of any background who truely are doing the right things without all the “lies”. Answer this question truthfully. Where do almost all immigrants from around the world want to get to for all of there needs? Your answer should help you with how you deal with and show the respect for the millions who died to give that “FREEDOM” to many more millions around the world and including “YOU” and your families, etc. Have a good day all. All should support an amendment to protect our flag(USA} as well just as other countries do as it represents all of the people from those countries and ours and what we stand for provided that it is civil, respectful, etc. One can check your state and federal legislatures voting records at a library, family institute in your state, etc. to see who does and doesn’t support the amendment and then vote accordingly come election time regardless of party but that alone should tell you who really cares about all and there country. Don’t fall for the freedom of speech argument as it is not that type of issue.
