Actions like this is true democracy in action and exactly what ONE should be all about. I can only hope that it was stressed to Mr. McKay that Iowa was one of the first states in the nation to become a ONE State and that Sen. Grassley's constituents have been some of the longest supporters of our movement to end AIDS & extreme poverty going all the way back to DATA's "Heart of America" tour with Bono, Ashley Judd and Agnes Nyamayarwo. To be true to this spirit, I hope that the People of Iowa can expect an affirmative answer from Sen. Grassley sooner than later regarding his stance on PEPFAR re-authorization.
