Hey Matt, all I can say is CONGRATULATIONS and thanks for showing the rest of the country that we here in the South actually DO care about the issues that ONE advocates for.

I have been trying to impress upon those in our movement ever since we started down this road nearly six years ago that the South is a wellspring for support for Africa's Future - if we organize in the South stressing those areas where people down here have a particular interest, like national security for instance.

As we have grown, our movement is getting better at finding those organizing points which work the best in various areas of our country and your success at WKU is indicative of this.

Keep up your terrific efforts next semester on campus. I'll be rooting for all of you. (smile)

LIVING POSITIVELY, debbie :)

In the news yesterday, the huge problem of food waste in the west was revealed:

Sweden wastes 33% of all its food. Ireland more. USA tops the list (unsurprisingly) with 50%.
Obviously this should be used as a resource at most. It should be shipped to the urgently needy rather than being thrown, which is a huge environmental problem for the West. By processing the food to a soup powder this would spare the world of futile misery.
