We must realize that ONE is not here to give us anything. ONE is here to advocate for the world's poorest people that they may have a semblance of a decent life - or that they may have a life at all. I sincerely think that with all the media attention and hype that ONE has seen in the last month that a large group of our membership is not quite in consensus with what ONE is all about. If we are going to encourage all this media hype about our movement to end AIDS and extreme poverty then we owe it to our new members to inform them what we are all about. Anonymous is a perfect example of the whiney, spoiled, ungrateful lack of class that is simultaneously annoying in our culture, and hugely insulting to the people who have nothing. I am frankly embarrassed by it...
