Bono was just on Idol GIves Back encouraging everyone to sign up at ONE.org, saying: “Tonight, save a life. Tomorrow, change the world.”

After, the three current presidential candidates spoke about the importance of fighting poverty. In December, ONE members sent tens of thousands of petitions and got all the candidates to go on the record with their plans to combat global poverty.

Check out their plans on ONE Action’s On The Record site.

Also, see our candidate reel below.

Let’s do it already. We’re ONE, we’re NOT ALONE.
No more tax cuts for the wealthy making more than $250,000.00 per year.

I was happy to see all three presidential candidates on “Idol Gives Back” — It made me hopeful that any of the three will be a good choice for office. But I am also weary in the fact that the current president made promises that he has not kept and had all these good intentions.
I hope, and want to believe, that these three mean what they said.
