		<description>Thank you, ONE, for posting this piece regarding Dr. Margaret Chan's ideas on this World Health Day. Her reference to the very serious interconnection of climate change to increased poverty and disease in the world are quite timely.


This would be another good place to reference our ONE blog readers to the new book by Prof. Jeffrey Sachs entitled "Common Wealth" which also explores the same issues raised by Dr. Chan.

All this just a few weeks away from Earth Day.


We as ONE need to continue to connect the dots between extreme poverty and other issues pressing on our modern society if we are really going to make the biggest impact on changing the "hearts &#38; minds" of the public and current policies by our governments.
